TLB, after editing yet another piece of poorly written fiction: Why do so many people think they can write a book? No one thinks they can do brain surgery without knowing something about it first.
Brando: I don't know. It's really frustrating.
TLB: I mean, what other endeavor do people undertake without really knowing how?
Brando: Uh, nation-building?
Truer words were never spoken...no matter how frightening they sound.

Is it wrong that I laughed out loud? Is John Ashcroft et al. going to come knocking at my door?

What's so funny is to think of Brando's mind constantly spinning, working, trying on things for size, discarding 99% of nonfunny, and always ready to pounce when the time comes.
